Healthcare and Community Training in Kenya

In its efforts to improve food security in East Africa, the FoodTechAfrica partnership has provided a successful Healthy Eating Community Training in Machakos County Kenya on 10^th March 2020. The training was aimed at promoting healthy eating habits in the Kamuthanga Fish and Vegetable Farm community area. Sessions on healthy diet, kitchen hygiene and fish consumption were attended by 64 trainees. Participants showed great enthusiasm and valuable suggestions were made for follow up activities, including kitchen gardens and nutrition medical camps.
